Bio
Hey, since you're here, why don't I tell you my life story?
I was born many moons ago in the most boring part of the midwest States ever: Indiana.
I grew up as a middle-class farmer's daughter and daddy's girl. At the age of nine, when I was in 4th grade, I was invited into a program called EXCEL (I forgot what it stands for), which was a Gifted and Talented trio of classes, for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students who "think outside of the box". Those were the best three years of my life, even if I was constantly picked on and called various names, one of which was "slut". It was also during these years when I began having trouble with school, and was diagnosed (sort of) with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I'm still on meds for these, but they seem to work very well.
My group of friends with whom I've stuck with since 4th grade are like siblings to me, and they've played important roles in my life. Emma has been my cohort with whom I've done all sorts of stupid things that haven't gotten me in trouble. She's blonde, but she's probably the best student out of my friends. Chinwe moved to Texas in 5th grade, but we've still been really close through email. Jaddyn is the other person with whom I do non-dangerous stupid things with, and we plan to fail school together. Chris is my partner in crime, because he's the one I always manage to get in trouble with. He's faithfully stuck with me even though I've done all sorts of odd things to him, including violently hugging him, spitting water all over him, and slapping him. He's also got ADHD. Finally, Christian has been my closest male friend, and I can't even remember how many times he's been my shoulder to cry on. He and I also have this odd habit of having these deep, philosophical conversations with. He was the first person I kissed who's not in my family.
I have a half sister named Rachel, who's currently studying elementary education at the University of Southern Indiana, and I have 5 golden retrievers, named Dixie (AKA the farty old grandma), Roxie (AKA Twitch), Doc (AKA Football Head, since people say his head is huge), Sammy (AKA Fatso), and Tazz (Who has no particular nickname, and is a registered therapy dog). We used to have another dog, named Bully, who had some sort of mental disability, seizures, and a heart murmur. He was pretty dumb, but was probably the cutest dog in Warrick County, and he was amazingly friendly. Hell, if someone broke into my house and only Bully was in there, he'd probably just follow the guy around and wag his tail as long as he was being petted. Bully died in February of 08 when he fell into a frozen creek behind our house and drowned. We currently have a statue of a dog with angel wings on it as a memorial to him.
I do taekwondo, but I'm fairly bad at it. I am, however, ranked 5th in the state for sparring. I won't say my belt rank, since it's constantly changing.
In the terms of miscellania, I'm a self-proclaimed Atheist in a family of Roman Catholics, and my parents absolutely despise my faith. I play the French Horn in the school band, and I've discovered that I'm not halfway bad at it. I can argue the pants off anyone, and people say that I'm good at giving speeches and presentations.
And for those of you who are desperate to know, I'm a size C-38 and I'm 5"3.
So, do you feel like you know me better now?
